Oil Pulling for Improved Health

Recently a couple friends of mine where talking about oil pulling, at the time I had no idea what they were talking about, however after a little research and having a go at it myself I thought this is too cool not to share.

Thieves roll on pulling is very simple, natural, lost cost technique that is an ancient Ayurvedic practice used to promote good oral health, as well as over all health of the body.
So of course I had to give it a try, and experience it for my self, but you know me I just had to add therapeutic grade essential oils.
All it takes is a spoonful (table spoon) of cold pressed sesame or sunflower oil. You can try other vegetable oils, but these are said to work the best.

I of course added one drop of Thieves oil for flavor and added benefits.
For 15-20 minutes swish the oil around in your mouth sucking and pushing it through the teeth, and once you are finished you spit it out. Ideally this would be done in the morning on an empty stomach before brushing your teeth, and if you do it during the day the empty stomach rule still applies.
Spitting the oil out is very important, because it traps the bacteria and toxins that you want to get rid of. After the 20 minutes are up the oil will have changed as it absorbs the bacteria and toxin, and mixes with your saliva and enzymes turning white, and thinning out.
And finally rinse your mouth out with water.

Ta- da!
Now your mouth feels awesome!
Accourding to Dr. (med.) Karach used this technique to treat head-aches, bronchitis, tooth pain, thrombosis, eczema, ulcers and diseases of stomach, intestines, heart, blood, kidney, liver, lungs and women's diseases. It heals diseases of nerves, paralysis, and encephalitis. It prevents the growth of malignant tumors, cuts and heals them. Chronic sleeplessness is cured.
Oil pulling increases the metabolism, and benefits the whole body. It is a great way maintain health and prevent disease, and has also been effective at treating all forms of illness such as migraine headaches, bronchitis, diseased teeth, arterio thrombosis, chronic blood disorders such as leukemia, arthritis and related illnesses, neuro physiological paralysis, eczema, gastro enteritis, peritonitis, heart disease, kidney disease, meningitis, and women's hormonal disorders.

It has also been used in cases of in terminal diseases such as cancer, Aids and chronic infections with great success.

Aside from the health benefits know this it also whitens, and strengthens teeth. I just love the sound of that don't you!
Some people report having difficulty with the texture of the oil stimulating the gag reflex, if this occurs hold out and last as long as you can each time working closer to 20 minutes.
The more frequent you practice this technique the better the results if you are really sick you can do it several times a day or if you want to maintain your health once a day or a few times a week.
The most important thing to remember is that it serves you best when you do it.
Once you try it please share your experience, and if you have been doing it for a while I would defiantly love to hear a "before and after" story.

Happy swishing!
