Pregnant women should always consult their doctor before beginning any questionable activity. It is common for pregnant women to have a hard time sleeping, but with just a few drops of lavender on the pillow and they will fall right to sleep. Other things that lavender will help with are constipation, back pain, relieving a cold, and urine development.
The mild citrus fragrance of mandarin oil is soothing and pleasant. Not only does mandarin oil smell great but it also helps with respiratory problems. Constipation is common for pregnant women and mandarin oil will help relieve the pain. It also helps with cramps and the liver with proper bile function.

Ylang ylang is just what pregnant women need to add some Zen in their lives. Ylang ylang has the ability to reduce depressive feelings, anxiety, and nervousness. This oil does this through giving a sense of peace and well being.

Neroli is the fourth oil commonly used. Neroli is great at helping with diarrhea through regulating bowel movements and easing the digestive system. Depression, fear, shock, and stress can also be relieved with neroli.

The essential oils constipation following are techniques that pregnant women can do to use the oil for relief. For taking a bath, use 5 to 6 drops and mix well. To sleep well, use 2 to 3 drops on the pillow. They can take a compression that was dipped in water with 3 drops of oil in it for relaxation. For homemade incense, put 4 drops of oil to every 2 teaspoons of carrier oil and burn.

Pregnancy is a miracle with life growing inside of women, but it can be terrifying women too. Many of these pregnant women worry about what might go wrong. Their hormones going up and down with pregnancy makes their reactions to their fears even worse. By using essential oils it helps relax and relieve them of discomfort both mentally and physically.
